Have you switched to LED light bulbs in your home? If not, you may want to consider the interesting ways they illuminate your space. LED (light-emitting diode) is not just for lighting your way through the dark anymore. Now you can use them for mood lighting, alternating colors, recessed lighting, and dimmers, to name a few. From a design perspective, LED lights can add just the right ambiance to any room.
In fact, I just installed some LED lighting in my new home and I’m loving all the options. The lighting is even hooked up to my smartphone and Alexa. In the bedroom, I just say “Alexa, please dim the lights” or “Alexa, turn off the lights.” Thanks to my boyfriend, an IT professional, the house is becoming a smart home!
Here is a photo of the lighting in my bedroom called Lifx, with some of the color options, including sunset glow and strobe effect. I can even make the lighting flicker, which adds a spooky shine perfect for Halloween.
