Revitalizing Falcon Heights: A Senior Living Haven and Apartment Leasing Office Transformation

Vibrant Colors and Inviting Atmosphere was given Seniority.
The lobby project at Falcon Heights Town Square Senior Apartments aimed to breathe new life into the common spaces, creating an inviting atmosphere for both residents and visitors. One key aspect of this transformation was the use of Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring, a durable and aesthetically pleasing choice that provides a warm and natural feel to the space.Residents were particularly enamored with the new color scheme. Two tones of gray adorned the walls, creating a sophisticated backdrop, while pops of vibrant colors added a touch of playfulness. The modernized fireplace became a focal point, enhancing the overall ambiance of the lobby.Senior Living Community Room transformation extended beyond the lobby to the senior living Community Rec room. I focused on practicality and aesthetics, opting for easy to clean vinyl chair covers, a crucial consideration in communal spaces. A large part of updating this space was painting the woodwork white throughout. While this can be controversial, the before and after photos make it clear it was the right choice for a fresh and clean look throughout the senior building.

New finishes, countertops and cabinetry updating the kitchen to a modern space for residents to enjoy. Artwork was thoughtfully selected to enhance the visual appeal, and updated lighting fixtures illuminated the room in a warm and welcoming glow. The addition LVP flooring added clean sophistication to the space.

Big Picture Vision: Elevating the Atmosphere
The functional and beautiful Leasing Office emerge from a bank slate. The goal of this design was to infuse warmth, and positivity into the leasing office and work space. Utilizing color, art, and feng shui layout to raise the chi, creating an environment that not only looks appealing but also feels uplifting.

The leasing office received special attention, incorporating elements inspired by places cherished by the community, such as images from the Minnesota State Fair which is nearby. We added giclée wall prints and nature inspired wall coverings into the office space, creating visual energy and a connection to nearby Minnesota landmarks.
Maintaining an exposed ceiling, sprayed in a neutral gray, ensured cohesiveness without unnecessary distractions. An accent wall painted in a spice color, echoed in the carpet, added warmth and character to the space. Thoughtful space planning, along with carefully chosen furniture, art, and lighting, resulted in a leasing office that surpassed the expectations of both staff and visitors.
