Dining Area After

With several design updates, the Laguna Beach Condo is an even more inviting getaway for its owners.

Finishing details are coming together to enhance the beauty and comfort of the space. Besides offering sweeping ocean views and the soothing sound of waves crashing, the interior offers a peaceful setting for relaxation.

When making design changes to enhance the comfort of a space, functionality and ease-of-use are just as important as appealing to the senses with soft colors and textures. First with the laundry area, and now with the window treatments, we’ve improved performance.

Windows AfterFor sun control (crucial in a California beach condo) we installed Hunter Douglas designer screen shades.

With LiteRise, you can easily push them up or down by hand – having no strings keeps it simple, and ensures a clear view out the window.

The shades’ color ties in with the rest of the condo’s design, as does a pleated valance in a soft fabric, without overwhelming the windows. We wanted the view outside to be the main event.

Living Room After

In the living room we added a smooth wool rug to add texture and coziness. Its minimal design is clean and softens the seating area.

Bedroom After

A new piece of art by our Virtual Art Gallery Artist Gulgun Gigi Turker now adorns the bedroom doorway, making for a grand entrance. Its title is “Angel Watching Over Me,” which creates good Feng Shui, adding an element of protection to the bedroom.

It’s nice to see the space evolve with each set of updates. We still have details to add – more to come!
